the new journey begins...
Jan 31st, I experienced a life changing tragic car accident. Fell asleep at the wheel, and woke up 3 days later at UNMC hospital. The doctors said told me I’d more than likely never walk again. For the first two months I was laid up in a hospital bed not able to even sit up without passing out. You have a couple different options when life puts you in compromising positions. Give up, or DO something about it. From the moment I was released I knew I had to put in some kind of effort every day, with the choice to GET back, what I once had. The road to recovery was quite difficult, and is still not complete. But through consistency and commitment to improve myself I know that it’s just a moment in time I was down, but I will never be out. Fast forward 10 months and I’m back to working with world class athletes at a high level. Every day I must make the mental choice to do something about my current state. There will be good days, and there will plenty of bad days. But making sure the effort is there daily, will ultimately get me back to 100%. Truly feel GOD gave me another chance for a reason. It’s up to me to make the most of it. No matter what you’re going through, take each day as another chance to improve on the previous day. I’m not ready to check out yet, and have an entire family to support. I’ll show them how to overcome the worst of times. I’ll in turn show the rest of the word what one can do when their mind is in the game.
